Providing an email address is optional. We use it only to verify your address, protect or recover your access to Station Wars, and send essential account or security messages. We do not use it for advertising or marketing.
We store your display name, faction, active-player status, check-ins, station achievements, chat messages, and account security details. Chat messages and your display name are visible to eligible players in your faction. Your device location is checked when you locate or check in at a station. Precise latitude and longitude are not stored; we retain only a successful Auckland-presence result when you use Locate, or the station, time, and rounded distance needed to validate a check-in.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not show your email to other players. Your email is processed only by the hosting and email-delivery providers needed to operate verification and recovery, or when disclosure is required by law.
We keep an email while it is attached to your profile and retain game records needed to run the competition securely. You may ask us to correct or delete your email or personal information. Routine security backups may retain deleted data until they expire.
We use reasonable technical safeguards, including encrypted connections and protected account credentials. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@rtwrs.com.

When you’re in Auckland, tap Locate to find and open your nearest station. If you’re not yet in range, move closer before checking in.
Select the station and tap the large check-in button. Your location is checked to confirm you are there.
The team with more check-ins controls the station. Keep checking in to defend it or take it from the other team.

Yes. Open Profile and update your display name.
